Julie and Helene had a very positive and informative meeting with Freddie from Blue Marine Foundation. Blue Marine is one of the Intrepid232 chosen charities to support throughout our Atlantic Challenge campaign. One of the projects we learnt about was the current work Blue Marine is involved with in Jersey regarding the new Portelet snorkel trail that sits within the recently designated Portelet Bay No-Take-Zone.

One component of Snorkel Portelet is the educational programme which has provided the opportunity for more than 180 Jersey primary school children to experience the beauty and diversity hidden beneath the waves in Jersey’s shallow marine habitats.
