GRACE CROCKER FOUNDATION

Financial and emotional support

The Grace Crocker Family Support Foundation was set up in January 2011 in memory of Grace Crocker who grew her angel wings aged 11 weeks. Grace was born with Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome and had open-heart surgery when she was just 5 days old. Her family, who lived in Jersey and had to move to Southampton for three months whilst Grace recovered from surgery. The charity helps provide financial and emotional support for local Jersey families who have sick children requiring medical treatment in the UK and relies solely on fundraising and donations. Since the charity was set up back in 2011 we have raised £1,106,000 and supported 230 local families.

NIGEL CROCKER
FROM THE FOUNDATION COMMENTED

The Grace Crocker Family Support Foundation is delighted to be chosen as a key charity to benefit from by the incredible team Intrepid232, who are competing in one of the hardest global challenges in the world, The Talisker Whisky Atlantic challenge, rowing more than 3000 miles from the Canaries to the Caribbean.

The level of commitment this team have to show and go through over the next 24 months is nothing short of amazing and we wish them all the luck in the world on their endeavours. As a charity we are extremely grateful for this opportunity to be aligned with Intrepid 232 and will be following their progress keenly, providing regular updates throughout their training and the event once it comes around in 2023.
