Thanks Jersey Boat Show for a fantastic weekend. It was a great opportunity for us to showcase Black Squid, our ocean rowing boat and talk about our upcoming challenge. We were also joined by Catherine from Blue Marine Foundation one of our chosen charities to talk about all the recent work that the Foundation have been undertaking in Jersey and generally be an extra pair of hands on our stand so thank you for your help Catherine.
It was busy busy busy and everybody we met was so supportive of what we will be undertaking and generally very interested in everything around the challenge itself. Our little 250m sprint competition on the rowing machines was very popular – thank you Jersey Rowing Club for the loan of the ergs – with some people coming back throughout the day to beat their personal bests.
All in all great fun and we thank everybody who came along to see us, get involved, buy raffle tickets and t-shirts and supply us with refreshments!
