We are very excited to see the progress being made on the build of our brand new Rannoch RX45 4-person ocean rowing boat – this sleeker, faster and lighter carbon fibre ocean rowing boat replaces the classic R45 – the boat that has taken more rowing teams across oceans than any other design. The RX45 will be significantly faster in her design – but is also refining the build process with less materials, making her both lighter but also more environmentally acceptable. The boat is completely self-sufficient, equipped with all of our food, drink and survival equipment. Electricity for essential safety, navigation, water and communications devices is generated by solar panels – sustainable transport at its purest.

We are super excited to be one of the first crews to row in this beautiful new boat and are so looking forward to our trip to Rannoch Adventure to catch up with Charlie Pitcher in early September where he will go through everything with us and get her on the water for the first time. Very exciting times ahead for us.
